While one filter plate is online for melt filtration, the other station can be pulled out to replace the clogged screen pack. Carbon spots, sand, paper scraps and other impurities from waste plastic are intercepted reliably before the melt enters the die, ensuring clean polymer flow.
Excellent sealing design is adopted to prevent melt leakage during plate switching. The pressure fluctuation is minimal, so pellet size and quality stay consistent. Compared with other continuous filtration solutions, this dual-plate model features a simple and compact structure, lower cost and easier maintenance, which is very popular for PP, PE and mixed waste plastic regranulation projects.
Made of high-strength alloy steel with nitriding treatment, the body and slide plates resist high temperature and abrasion for long service life. The heating system keeps the melt at stable processing temperature and avoids material solidification inside the flow channel.
